Aboriginal NHLers Score Big After Break
March 8, 2006

After what was a long Olympic break for many of our Native boys in the NHL, most have come back with a bang! Jonathon Cheechoo hasn't missed a beat, scoring 2 goals and 5 assists in the past 5 games. Rene Bourque, this week's Nativehockey.com Player of the Week scored 4 goals in his return.

Not to be outdone, our big guys have also returned hot. Chris Simon scored the game winning goal for his Calgary in the 2-0 win over San Jose, while Sheldon Souray scored a late 3rd period goad to tie the Canadiens up with Philly and send them into overtime.
